Actor Tom Cruise puts mansion up for sale

Hollywood Actor and film maker, Tom Cruise is
reportedly selling his £4.95million estate in
England.
The palatial and luxurious property in West Sussex
is believe to be the house that the Tom and his
third-wife Katie Holmes - from whom he divorced in
2012 - bought in 2006.
According to Variety, the 14.2 acre estate, six
bedroom house belongs to the Top Gun actor and
was thought to have cost closer to the £3million
mark when he first bought it.
The website reports that the country estate - located
near the town of East Grinstead - has between five
and six bedrooms in the main house with eight
bathrooms.
The house also features a 900 square-foot living
room, a 33 foot-long master bedroom with access
to a balcony, manicured lawns, a tennis court and
an outdoor swimming pool.
The property also includes a 'pavilion' with two
additional bedrooms, kitchen/living area and
bathrooms.
There are also outbuildings on the estate, which
include a Victorian era garage and a small summer
house in the back garden.
The Top Gun star who is a staunch Scientologist,
may have bought the house because it is close to
East Grinstead - which is home to Saint Hill, the
former home of the author L. Ron Hubbard who
founded the Scientology religion.
However,the Mission Impossible actor is no
stranger to playing the property market. In 2012, he
sold his 2,200 square-foot apartment in Manhattan,
while he is also thought to be angling to shift his
Beverly HIlls estate.
Meanwhile, Tom's career is still going from
strength-to-strength, with the actor currently filming
the sequel to 2012's Jack Reacher, Jack Reacher:
Never Go Back.
Due out in 2016, the film also stars How I Met Your
Mother's Cobie Smulders , and sees Tom reprise the
role of the enigmatic former Army MP with a taste
for justice.
